How long does it take to complete the job?
Depending on services being performed that day, it could take anywhere from 1 hour to several, each project is different. We will do our best to give you a time frame at the time of the estimate or at the start of the job.
How much will it cost?
Every job is different with it's own set of circumstances and situations. Cost is generally calculated by services rendered and/or length of time. Window Washing, Pressure Cleaning, Gutter Cleaning, Roof Cleaning etc... all require me on site to actually see everything involved. Every Home Is Different. Do you have weekend appointments available?
Yes, we do work weekends for your convenience! Weekend appointments are available and are made on a first come first serve basis. Weekend appointments typically book up first.
What is Glass Degradation?
Over time, glass may become infused with dirt & contaminates such as oxidization, hard water mineral stains (sprinkler systems and garden hoses), acid rain and overspray (paint, varnish, caulking, etc.). Since glass is porous, these pollutants settle right down into the surfaces, grooves and valleys of the glass causing it to lose its luster and shine. Regular cleaning is necessary to prevent permanent damage which can become extremely costly.
Can you remove paint/varnish from my windows?
Yes we can! We have a process in which we can safely remove material such as paint, varnish, caulk, concrete, stucco, stickers and plaster from windows. This does take longer
and is not included in the normal estimate, this would be considered a construction cleaning.
Is it necessary for me to be at home during the window cleaning?
If you wish to be home during the window cleaning, I'm happy to schedule an appointment which suits your schedule. However, it is not always necessary for you to be home for the entire appointment. We can start on the interior window cleaning and you can lock up your home and leave while we continue on the exterior. We do our best to work around your schedule. We have cleaned windows on many homes with the customers home and with them not home it all depends upon the comfort level of the customer.
Do you supply your own equipment?
Yes, We provide my own supplies and equipment, we even bring our own wash water ready to go the minute we arrive.
What happens if it is raining the day we have our job scheduled?
Not a problem. I can clean windows when it is raining. The process of removing the dirt from your windows is still effective even in the rain. However, if you request me not to clean the windows I can reschedule depending on schedule availability.
Do you offer a "rain guarantee"?
Yes. Our "rain guarantee" is something we offer all our customers. The "rain guarantee" only applies to the exterior side of your windows and only within 2 days after your initial cleaning. The "rain guarantee" means we will re-clean your affected exterior windows for free if they accumulate spots and rain residue within 2 days following your initial appointment. Will you call me to remind me that I need my windows cleaned?
If you would like to be put on a regular schedule for service or a reminder schedule list please call or e-mail the office. We do our best to call customers we have not heard from in 6 months or more.
How often should I clean my windows?
A minimum of 2 times a year is highly recommended to prevent glass degradation and to maintain your windows luster and shine.
Do you make a lot of noise?
Certain services may make a lot of noise (i.e. power washing) while other services make very little noise (window cleaning & gutter cleaning). If you need to make
the appointment around childrens nap times or other issues please let us know in advance. We may be able to complete that portion of the project accordingly.
